We wish to advise you of recent changes to our office. After 35 years of dedicated service to our patients, Dr. Farson has decided to retire from the practice and hand the reins to Dr. Gilbert and Dr. Lui. We understand his decision to spend more time with family and wish him the best in his retirement years. With Dr. Farson’s blessing, and in the best interest of our patients, Dr. Gilbert has a new partner.

Dr. Lui is a graduate from UC Berkeley and UCLA and is certified to treat glaucoma and co-manage LASIK and cataract surgery. He is excited to provide excellent eye care to our patients.

​Dr. Gilbert and Dr. Lui now accept Medicare and continue to accept most vision plans, including VSP, EyeMed, MES Vision, Davis Vision, and Spectera. ​

                     Dr. Dan  W.  Gilbert, O.D.

Dr.Gilbert has practiced primary care Optometry in Orange County for over 20 years. In addition to prescribing glasses, Dr. Gilbert is proficient in the fitting of contact lenses,evaluating and treating eye health problems.

In the last 10 years, Dr.Gilbert has expanded his practice to included the co-management of Laser Vision Correction.

Dr.Gilbert has received extensive training and education from Dr.Tooma, as well as other noted surgeons, in the co- management of Laser Vision Correction.

Dr. Gilbert is very active as a Lasik co-management doctor in both the care of patients considering Laser Vision Correction as well as those who have under gone the procedure. We accept all Major Vision Care Insurance. Other acceptable payment options are MC,VS,Cash or Check.
